Jammu, Apr 04: In a commendable and inspiring initiative towards the preservation and promotion of Indian culture, a Sanskrit nameplate was installed at the residence of senior journalist and State Awardee Vivek Sharma in Gandhinagar area of Jammu & Kashmir.

This meaningful step conveyed a strong cultural message. The nameplate was formally installed by State Awardee Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of the Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust.

On this occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri stated that Sanskrit is not merely a language but the foundational pillar of India’s ancient civilization, knowledge tradition, and rich cultural heritage.

He urged society to adopt such practices by installing Sanskrit nameplates at their homes, offices, and establishments as a mark of respect for Indian culture.

He added that such initiatives can serve as a powerful medium to connect the younger generation with their roots and instil cultural awareness.

He further emphasized that in today’s modern era, it is extremely important to preserve our traditions and values. While installing a Sanskrit nameplate may seem like a small step, its impact can be far-reaching and significant. This initiative, he noted, is not just about promoting a language but also about strengthening Indian culture and Sanatan values.

Vivek Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mahant Rohit Shastri for this initiative and described it as a matter of pride and honor for his family.
